DESCRIPTION:A fun and educational community event-it is all about the bees! How to attract them\, keep them healthy and give you honey. Activities for kids and adults. Including art installations and performances all in downtown Greenfield. Opening with a reception with cash bar on May 31 from 6 to 8 p.m.\, the event coincides with the 10th Annual Langstroth Bee Festival. On Saturday\, June 1\, HIVE will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.\, with an artist's talk and Q&A at 1 p.m.\n\nIn multiple rooms of the historic Pushkin building\, the group presents an audio-visual immersive installation inspired by the life of bees. HIVE also includes large scale floral paintings by Alison Williams and Susan Valentine. Since 1999\, the six-piece instrumental band has delivered irresistible dance music from everywhere except your cousin's bar mitzvah. Klezperanto's fans know: It's No Hora Show!\n\n\n\nThe Feldons:\n\nThe Feldons Mod Rock and Soul Review perform a hard-hitting mix of 60's garage rock and soul music\, as well as newer songs inspired by the genre. The band presents a broad swath of obscure music from the rock and roll dustbin\, revamped and rearranged for a soul band lineup. We also play songs from our friends\, and write one of our own once in a while too. \n\nThe Feldons do our damnedest to recreate the bare knuckle rock and soul of an era when mod fashion was NOW\, bands bubbled up out of basements\, and people played like their lives depended it. \n\nDiscover the joy of music you didn't realize you were missing. \n\nCome dig fresh\, old school sound of THE FELDONS.
