DESCRIPTION:Join parents\, educators and professionals for a day of connections\, inspiration and knowledge building at the 30th Annual Autism Connections Conference on April 29 from 8 AM- 4 PM through our virtual SOCIO platform. The day-long educational conference brings together parents\, caregivers\, educators\, self-advocates\, professionals\, organizations and service providers to build knowledge\, inspire and make meaningful connections. The schedule includes featured speaker\, Stacey Gordon\, she is the puppeteer behind "Puppet Pie" and Sesame Street's 4-year old female Muppet\, Julia\, a curious girl with Autism. It also includes another featured speaker\, Mor nike Giwa-Onaiwu\, an autistic educator\, writer\, speaker\, parent\, advocate and creator of #AutisticBlackPride. Autism Connections\, a program of Springfield-based Pathlight\, is the western Massachusetts Autism Center serving families and individuals in Berkshire\, Franklin\, Hampshire and Hampden counties.
