DESCRIPTION:Eggtooth Productions with Turners Falls River Culture and Fostering Art and Culture present the Activist Art Generator\, an unconference designed to bring artists/makers together from all different genres (theater\, dance\, music\, fine art\, photography\, film\, all forms!) to share ideas and knowledge while making connections and relationships in order to create an action plan for activist art. This is a generative event with the purpose of generating work that makes changes\, to make work not just talk.\n\nWe seek to determine from the artists/makers what questions/issues they want to address through their art and work with them about how they might do so. We will share information\, connections\, stories\, and our toolbox with you to do so.\n\nFrom those ideas and challenges the artists/makers will self select companions to work together with to imagine a way of creating something that makes change in those areas. Finally at the end of the day\, those imaginings will be presented to the collective for help and input. \n\nThis is NOT another conference where we talk about ideas and then leave them hanging.
