DESCRIPTION:After an eight-year hiatus\, Soapbox Races are returning to Montague. A new committee consisting of several local business owners and town staff have pulled their talents and resources together to bring the excitement of gravity racing back to Unity Park\, Turners Falls. The race date will be on the same weekend as in the past: Sunday\, September 19th\, 2021. Proceeds from the race will benefit the Montague Parks and Recreation Camp Scholarship Fund. Three age classes -- kids\, teens and adults -- as well as a few artistic categories.
