10th Anniversary Celebration (Amherst FRC)

'The Bridge' Amherst Family Resource Center has been providing free supports, groups, and activities to families for 10 years! Come help us celebrate the 10th birthday of this valuable nonprofit program. New and returning families MORE THAN WELCOME! There will be games, activities, center tours, lunch, and more. A limited number of free art kits and children's books for families. PLUS! We'll have a special ice cream truck and Police comfort dogs. Pre-registration is welcome, but not required. The Amherst Family Resource Center (FRC) is a program of nonprofit community behavioral health agency Clinical & Support Options (csoinc.org). It is open weekdays to provide free multi-cultural parenting and kid-friendly programs, mental health needs assessment, job/housing referrals, and school-focused help for families whose children range in age from birth to 18 years without any need for insurance. Massachusetts Family Resource Centers (frcma.org) have been operating since 2015, with FRCs in each of the state’s 14 counties. CSO has operated the Amherst FRC since 2015. The Amherst FRC primarily serves Hampshire County, but would welcome any nearby family looking for support, referrals or community.
