Beginning Drawing

Saturday, 10/13, 10:00 am-4:30 pm. An absolutely beginning level class. Learn the essentials of realistic drawing, starting with learning to look in a new way. Focus will be on elements such as line, shape, value, shadow, composition and perspective to create illusions of three dimensional form and space. -Materials to bring to class: -A Set of Drawing Pencils with a range of H and B Pencils (Note: If you do not want to buy a whole set, buy: HB, 3B, 5B and 8B pencils) -A Pad of sketch or drawing paper, at least 11”x17”. Ideally, the drawing paper should be PH Neutral and 100% Cotton. Make sure that your drawing paper is not newsprint.
