FCCC January Breakfast - Crossroads: Change in Rural America

The Smithsonian is coming to Franklin County! January’s Chamber breakfast is a prelude to the Smithsonian’s traveling exhibit Crossroads: Change in Rural America, on view at the Great Falls Discovery Center in Turners Falls this year from February 5th to March 18th. The breakfast program features several business leaders who chose to come to Franklin County to live and work. What brought them here? What has kept them here? Our presenters will touch on some of the themes of the Crossroads exhibit, such as Identity, Land, Community, Persistence, and Managing Change.

Panelists include:
Molly Cantor Pottery and Handle Factory Clay Studio, Shelburne Falls

Jeremy Goldsher - Greenspace CoWork, Greenfield
Erin MacLean - LOOT found + made, Turners Falls
Janel Nockleby - Great Falls Discovery Center, Turners Falls

Thank you to our breakfast sponsors - Friends of the Great Falls Discovery Center, LifePath and BusinessWest

A companion exhibit focused on local history and several satellite exhibits will round out the offerings. Find the full event calendar and other information about the exhibit and programs here.
