Franklin County Prode

Parade starts at noon. Parade kicks off at the middle school at 12pm and ends up at Energy Park and then the festival happens on Miles Street and the park with countless vendors and performances. We hope to see you there!

 

Franklin County Pride is a joyful, celebratory, family friendly event! Roughly 1,000 people march in the parade, representing schools, organizations, businesses, government entities, and community groups. An estimated 2,500 people come out to watch the parade.

The parade marches down Federal Street, turns right onto Main Street, and then left to Energy Park in downtown Greenfield. During this time, the community is welcome all along the route to watch and cheer from the sidewalk.

Multiple groups and performers play music during the parade - from drummers to horn players and DJs playing festive pop music.

All of Miles Street down to Energy Park will be closed for the Franklin County Pride Festival, which occurs directly after the parade. You’ll find vendors all along the street and in the park. Vendors represent community organizations, businesses, and crafts/merchandise. There will also be food trucks in the Energy Park parking lot.

In the pocket park will be musical acts, circus performers, and a face painter. The main stage in Energy Park will have musical performances and speakers. ASL interpreters will be signing throughout the festival on the main stage.

With the closing of Miles St. there is no parking available at Energy Park or along Miles Street during the event.

There are multiple parking lots and a parking garage in Greenfield. Parking is FREE over the weekend in Greenfield.

Accessibility & Bathrooms

There will be multiple port-a-johns stationed at Energy Park and one at the top of Miles Street. This includes a handicap bathroom.

We will have golf carts available for those with mobility challenges and are happy to transport people directly to Energy Park and back up to Miles Street.

ASL interpreters will be on the main stage in Energy Park.
