Healthy Kids Day

Presented by Franklin County's YMCA. This is the Y's 30th anniversary of the national initiative to improve health and well-being for children and families.
The Y hopes to get more kids moving and learning, creating healthy habits.
"Healthy Kids Day" is a fun, free community-wide event. They are partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Franklin County to provide 100 free bikes to area kids. Parents and guardians must reserve a time to pick out a bicycle for their child call 413-773-3636 or visit your-y.org/hkd. The bikes are ideal for children ages 3-10.The Greenfield Kiwanis Club will also provide free helmets.

There will also be a bounce house and an aquatic-themed photo booth. A performance by the YMCA Gymnastic Team along with a food and bake sale fundraiser.
There will be zumba demonstration, and opportunity to pet ducks from a local duck sanctuary, and visit the Greenfield Police Department's newest comfort dog Office Ripon.
