Hot Damn Scandal plays “Tipsy American Gypsy Blues.” Their outlaw ballads, dirty jazz, circus freakouts, shanty-rags, string band funk, lonesome heart-breakers and whiskey bottle love songs blend together in a sweet song syrup somewhere between a ramble and a roar. Pinedrop’s fresh Americana sound skillfully intertwines folk and bluegrass. This four-piece band from Brattleboro, VT has played venues and festivals near and far, including MASS MoCA’s acclaimed FreshGrass Festival.
