Learn to Square Dance

Learn to Eastern Square Dance (Barn dance) with local caller Doug Wilkins and you'll be dancing and having fun the first day. You will start out on the dance floor learning the basics with easy dances, with new "moves" added in successive dance. All calls are singing calls. Dancers will learn how to swing, grand right and left, do-se-do, chain, and a number of other specialized dance patterns. Doug has been calling eastern square dances in the region since 1982, and can be found at the Heath and Cummington Fairs as the square dance caller. Instructions/What to bring/wear?: Wear comfortable, light clothing and comfortable shoes or sneakers.
