LifePath's 27th Annual Meals on Wheels Walkathon

We’re excited to announce that, for the 27th year, LifePath will host our Meals on Wheels Walkathon on Saturday, April 27 from 8:30 am to 11 am. Participants register and turn in the funds they’ve raised, pick up a t-shirt and, as they walk, enjoy a handful of entertainers on and around the ¼ mile loop. Join us! As funding continues to be uncertain and need continues to climb, it is more important than ever to renew and increase support of this program from many different sources. Individuals, businesses, organizations, and others may participate as walkers, sponsors, and volunteers. Businesses and organizations may sponsor and receive recognition for that support. Opportunities range from $250 up to $10,000! Additionally, encouraging a team of employee or member walkers is another great way to demonstrate support. Teams of walkers may begin collecting gifts using the printed form or online options. It is amazing to see what can be accomplished when walkers reach out to their own circles to make a difference. We hope to again count on local support to ensure that elders in our community can secure their options for independence where nutrition, wellness, and socialization are concerned, through LifePath's nutrition program with home delivered meals and congregate meal sites.
