Memorial Day Observation in Whately

Veterans are invited to attend the service at the Congregational Church. The annual parade leaves at 11:00 a.m., marching through the cemetery and ending at the common where a ceremony honors veterans. Elementary school children, the VFW, and Frontier Regional High School Band will participate.Kathy Belanger, a Gold Star Mother from Deefield is this year's speaker. From Noon to 2:00 p.m. there will be food and entertainment at the Milk Bottle in front of the Center School. Sarah the Fiddler and Roger Tincknell  will be entertaining. The museum will be open.
