Michael Sherry / Humble Digs
Rock and blues singer-songwriter Michael Sherry. Local folk/jazz group Humble Digs will also perform. Michael Sherry is a singer-songwriter, balladeer and philosopher, playing acoustic rock, blues, and country rock. Folk music great Judy Collins said, “Michael Sherry is wonderful.… I love Michael’s songs, they are beautiful and he is a very talented and inspirational singer.” Amherst-based Humble Digs started off as two guys piecing together folky songs with weird jazzy excursions. Eventually, a full band was formed. Influenced by the songwriting of ’70s sophisticats and adventurous live bands, their music makes you jump, sway, or rage.
