Open Hearth Cooking Demonstrations: Sweet and Sour: Pickles, Preserves, and Refreshing Summer Foods

Pickles. Lemonade. Switchel. Berry Preserves. Weather permitting, our hearth cooks will light a small fire and make pickles or preserves using fresh seasonal produce. If it’s too hot for a fire, they will make a cool drink like lemonade, shrub, or switchel.
