A widowed and lonely college professor finds two illegal immigrants living in his New York apartment.  Their unexpected encounter leads to friendship, the professor’s reawakening and some drumming.  Richard Jenkins’ performance won him an Oscar nomination, and the film received numerous other nominations and awards.  A sincere and touching drama.  Also stars Haaz Sleiman, Danai Guieira and Hiam Abbass.
