Power of Women Celebration

This year’s Power of Women event is Thursday, April 26, 2018, at Greenfield Community College. The premise of the event is to support the victims of domestic and sexual violence in our community. Join us and help to ensure that abused women in our community always have a safe place to go.
 
The Friends of NELCWIT are a concerned group of local community and business women who understand the complex difficulties that battered women face when leaving abusive relationships. We are dedicated to raising funds for NELCWIT, a local non-profit social service agency, and excited to be part of NELCWIT’s largest fundraising event of the year.

The Honorabte Ellen Story served 24 years as the Massachusetts State Representative frbm the

3'd Hampshire District, comprised of the towns of Amherst, Pelham and precinct 1 of Granby.

Since her initial election in L992, she became the first woman to represent Amherst in the

Legislature
