Reading the Forested Landscape
Ages 8 to adult. A guided tour of the first part of the Mahican-Mohawk Trail will teach you how to identify its plants & animals and read its ancient and recent history through its landscape. A great start for a longer hike through the park or by itself as an educational nature walk. Meet at Trail Parking Lot on Route 2 at Park Entrance.
