Shea Presents: Ona Canoa w/ Kimaya Diggs

Ona Canoa is a new Western Massachusetts folk trio with a timeless sound. The group is comprised of Chelsie Field (baritone ukulele/ vox), Eliza Hollister (flute/ vox), and Tess Burdick (guitar/vox). Inspired by impromptu three-part harmonies sang aboard a canoe one summer evening, the longtime best friends evolved into a band in the fall of 2018. In the short time since this happy accident, Ona Canoa has already found a dream-come-true success in the local music scene. They have quickly progressed from playing small open-studio performances to sold-out shows at Hawks and Reed, The Root Cellar, and Hawks and Reed’s Pushkin Gallery, where they played a headlining show in June 2019. Ona Canoa is celebrating their one-year milestone with their highly anticipated debut EP, “Good Dream,” set to be released November 16, 2019 in conjunction with a show at the Shea Theater in Turners Falls, MA.
