The Hawley Rhubarb Matinee

All are welcome at the newest culinary event in Hawley, Massachusetts, which will be low key but fun. Bring your favorite rhubarb dish, recipe, or anecdote—or just come relax in the country and taste other people’s treats. The day celebrates rhubarb in general and the publication of the new book, Love, Laughter, and Rhubarb, in particular.
At 3 p.m. horticultural maven Pat Leuchtman will discuss raising rhubarb. And writer/chanteuse Tinky Weisblat will sing a song of rhubarb and talk about her love of this much maligned food. Admission is free, but we hope people will buy cookbooks!
