Theater - The Old Man and The Old Moon

In this original folktale, the Old Man has been the sole caretaker of the moon for longer than either he or his wife can remember. When she is drawn away across the sea by an elusive memory of their shared past, the Old Man must give up his post in order to follow her. The Old Man and the Old Moon is a sea-faring epic that spans apocalyptic storms, civil wars, leviathans of the deep, and, most of all, an old man’s struggle to confront change. Influenced by Celtic folklore and sea shanty, the show features original folk music and shadow puppetry.

This is an all-ages show, suitable for anyone who has a sense of humor and delights in the whimsical.
