The name Mmapeu, “woman who carries ideas”, is a South African/Xhosa name given to the company’s founder during her work with NGOs in South Africa in the early 1990’s. The name acts as a values statement representing Dr Johnson’s orientation towards collaboration and partnership with a diverse client base.
